After dancing that a couple of times we were all definitely warmed up so we moved onto Hold Your Horses. After dancing it vanilla we all then went onto the arm movements and ‘the hold’, remember that right hand goes on your hip, not out in front of you!
Hold Your Horses 64 Count, 4 Wall Intermediate Choreographer: A T Kinson and Tom Mickers Music: Hold Your Horses by E-Type
A quick break to catch our breath and then we have a Michelle double, warming back up with 22 and then onto Summer of Love.
This one proved a little more challenging but you all got there and the tag seemed like a breeze to you all, but then again, you did have a choice between Unicorns, Jelly Beans, Balloons and Stars!
Summer of Love 80 count, 2 Walls Intermediate Choreographer: Michelle Risley Music: Summer of Love by Steps
Then a quick one wall recap of them all before dancing them again.
Huge thanks to Jo for her back wall and arm directions and to Haydyn and Alethea for manning walls. Also big thanks from me (and my back) for stacking the chairs at the end.
As always we had perfect timing, not only to finish just on time but all to get home before the Great British Summer time showed it’s damp face.
A fun morning in Shaw. It was requests week and we stormed through 8 dances with just one wall recaps. We definitely upped the pace this week and you all coped really well. Remember to look at the website to check out the other events coming up – the Get in Line BBQ and social is on the 9th August at the Lansdowne Hall in Derry Hill.
A really busy evening in Malmesbury and you guys did brilliantly! We got through loads of dances in the first AB class. Well done to the new dancers for managing to keep up! In the new Beginners class you guys did great with some new dances that were a step up in complexity from what you are used to.

In the new Beginners class we danced: Heave Away (as a quick warm up) A Bar Song (New Teach) x3 County Line Cha Cha (New Teach) x2
